But take away ALL carbs and all plant foods and it could be a very different story. The short answer is that we don’t know exactly how a long-term carnivore diet would affect muscle mass, endurance, or overall performance yet.

I have changed my approach to low carbohydrates over the last year by choosing to eat more whole foods and essentially carnivore for most days. Choosing to eat below my carbohydrate tolerance has not only allowed me to participate far beyond all expectation but also improved the quality of my life. I could never have imagined that at 51 I still hold on to the dream of going faster and harder for longer.
